My Narrative.

My Reflection
I have been learning to write a narrative . A narrative is  a story that is fake.
I really enjoyed putting a lot of detail because I want to make work interesting.
Something I found  challenging was I did not know what to come up first.
My next step is to work harder next time.

My reflection

I am learning to make and justly inferences.  I found it hard because I need to make inferences. Iḿ still not sure what inferences are.  My next step is to learn more about inferencing and to practice making inferences.

My speech 2019

   My Reflection I have been learning to write a persuasive speech.
I  found it different because I don now that mach about phones and I had none idea
some thing that I learnt is that phones is not one hundred dallier but it was one thousand and more.  My next step is to use more facts in my speech. 
 

Using the <, > and = maths signs

I was learning how to use the math signs.
I was able to put the correct sign between the numbers.
I found it tricky and I made some mistakes but I corrected them.
Next time I would like to do this on my own without any help.

Information Report

My Reflection
 I have been learning to write an information report. I need to have a beginning, middle and conclusion. It includes facts and conclusion. and be written in the present tense. I found this hard because it was hard to wroth the capitol senates my next step is to fineness faster to not fall behind of work.

Reading a Ruler

I am learning to read a ruler.  I found this difficult because it was hard to read the millimetres.  My next step is to keep practising reading rulers.

I have been learning to make inferences. I found clues in the book to help me answer the question. I found this easy because the book helped me. My next step is to keep practicing finding inferences because this will help me understand the story better.

My Reflection

I have been learning to write a variety of different sentences.  I found this tricky because it was hard to think of different types of sentences.  My next step is to use different types of sentences in my writing to make it more interesting for my reader.

I was learning to retell the main ideas of a story.  I found this tricky because it was hard to do the right number of words for each line.  My next step is to keep practising to retell a story in my own words.

Summarising Information - Famous New Zealander's

My Reflection

I have been learning to find and summarise information by choosing the most important information.  Summarising is find the main ideas and write it in my own words.  I found this interesting because Dan Carter was in the All Blacks and he won a couple of rugby awards.  I found summarising tricky because it was hard to find the main ideas  My next to step is to keep practising to summarise information.

Statistical Investigation

                                           my Reflection:
I have been learning to use the statistical enquiry cycle to carry out an investigation. My investigation was. I was surprised that it was not that hard I found the word most of challenging part because every tame I writ we are in a rush I am not sure to get the potato on my page  my next step is to display the data using a different type of graph.

 Welcome to my year 5 learning blog this year I am in room 24 and my teacher are Mrs Melville and Mrs Rayner. I enjoy doing maths and reading.  A goal I have this year is to work on getting a pen license.  I hope that you enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.
