I enjoyed using the tens frames to see the number.

I can now count up the pieces.
I need to keep practising identifying more fractions.

I got better at looking at the features of a non-fiction text. 

Next I need to remember the features on my own.

Nonsense poem

   The chair sat,

on the mat.

  

The chair sat on,

the cat.

The chair sat,

The chair saw,

a bear.

The chair sat on,

the hair.

Today I found that it was difficult to write a nonsense poem.  I learnt how to make a whole entire nonsense poem.
I got better at rhyming words.
Next time I will add more stanzas.

Dear mum,

I can hear People talking.  I see my friends and green trees and green grass and blue sky . I can smell my  yummy and delicious ham burger.  It tastes soft and juicy. I can feel the crust of my bun. It feels crunchy.

We have been learning to describe a setting by using our senses.  I enjoyed writing about a mystery place.  It was tricky to  think of ideas.  Next I will try to add more details.
